Well, ok, this blog's been up since May, and it's time for me to earn my spot on the editorial staff (not to mention the extremely flattering picture on the "Meet the Editors" page) by actually writing something. And what better way than with some exciting news that could win you the trip of a lifetime?
You see, youth soccer is kicking off all over the country, and Sony's right in the thick of it in a big way with the "Shoot For The FIFA World Cup™" photo and video contest.
It's simple:
- Just grab your camera or camcorder
- Take photos or videos of your kids playing soccer
- Then upload them to our special site between now and October 18
Based on a combination of criteria including depiction of soccer content, emotional intensity and technical execution, our panel of judges will choose winners in four categories.
The Grand Prize? Oh, nothing special
