You might have read Ron's post, "Win a trip to the 2010 FIFA World Cup" introducing our latest contest, "Shoot For the FIFA World Cup", asking for your best soccer photos & videos for the chance to see your 13 -17 year old experience the thrill of walking on the pitch for a pre-game ceremony at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.
Since the contest started in August, we've seen customers shooting and submitting their photos/video - from team efforts to solo stars.There's a ton of great entries and so in the spirit of the game, I thought I'd highlight a couple of my favorites. Don't worry, my opinion doesn't matter a darn as these are being judged by a special panel. If you think your photo or video is better I challenge you to enter. If you feeling voyeuristic, check out the current entries and come back to let us know what your favorites are. The deadline is this Sunday, October 18th (see official rules). Other great prizes include a Sony Handycam camcorder, an Alpha DSLR, and a Cyber-shot digital camera.
I love know this isn't your typical soccer video (or maybe it is?) but I could help but cringe at this poor kid's kick. That's gatta hurt.
I am not sure who is having more fun. Adult or child...
