About the Blog
You've likely read a lot of blogs already covering Sony: recent news, upcoming products, maybe even the latest corporate gossip.
This isn't that kind of blog.
At Sony Style, we're responsible for connecting people to products. In this blog, you'll see posts inviting you to discuss your experiences with us-from the moment you enter our site (or stores) to your gadgets' last day of play. With your permission, we'll also throw in some irreverent perspectives from within the asylum. So as we power up, we hope you enjoy listening to us, because we look forward to listening to you.
By the way, you might see some really strange editor photos. We ask members of our design team to create these as we've learned the art of self-deprecation. Enjoy.
Rules of the Road
We're going to talk about a lot of different topics and we encourage you to participate. We'd just like to take this opportunity to cover the rules of the road. It's basic stuff around being respectful so it shouldn't be anything you didn't already learn in pre-school or haven't already seen similar rules on other sites. Besides when you are respectful, people listen more anyway.
- No adult content or obscenities. Consider our blog rated PG.
- No violence, harassment or threats. Do we need to explain this further?
- No personal information. This isn't a dating site.
- No spam. You'd just be embarrassing yourself.
- No copyrighted content. If it isn't yours, then don't post it.
Now there are some guidelines beyond the basics that constitute a comment removal. For example, if you need help with an order, we need to collect personal information so we'll do this outside the blog. If your comment is ever not posted, you'll hear from us as to why. We won't leave you in the dark.
